fishsoup.net is the personal web site of, me, Owen Taylor. While I'll try to include some information on fish soup on this site (it's good stuff, after all), it is not primarily about fish soup.

My interests include, among other things, the topics on this site: food, typography, and computer programming. I'm probably best known for my work on the GTK+ widget toolkit and the Pango text layout engine
I grew up in western New York state (Rochester) and studied Physics at the University of Chicago and Cornell before joining Red Hat, where I currently work, in 1998.
